As a miner in world of warcraft, you can mine ore from metal veins around the world, you also can smelt the ore into metal bars to craft items. Though this way suits for almost all occasions but there is an exceptian-the metal "arcanite", since there is no "arcanite ore" in the game. However do not have, it has great use for quests and crafting, it is good if you can create one. Prepare for creating Arcanite you should have a high level miner and a high level alchemist.
First, mine and gather "thorium ore" and "arcane crystals" from veins. They can be found in areas such as Blasted Lands, Burning Steppes, Eastern Plaguelands Western Plaguelands, or Winterspring. But you should know that the "arcane crystals" is a little difficult to find, it will take some of your time.
Second, smelt the "thorium ore" into "thorium bars", remember this activity requires a mining skill of at least 230 and a character level of 50. After smelt, travel to Tanaris and purchase the "Transmute Arcanite" recipe from the Alchemist Pestlezugg.
Third, use your recipe to learn the "Transmute Archanite" ability. This requires you an alchemy skill of at least 275 to learn this recipe.
Fourth, transfer the "thorium bars" and "arcane crystals" from your miner to your alchemist. Then use your alchemist's "Trasmute Arcanite" ability to convert the "thorium bars" and "arcane crystals" into "arcanite bars." For each "arcanite bar," you will need one "thorium bar" and one "arcane crystal."
By doing this, you can produce your own Arcanite bars by your own profession. Try to produce one and use it for your quests and crafting.
