Blizzard made a legend for its MMO game world of warcraft, which been approximately six years since the first version Warcraft was first introduced. Though along the years, many of the wow players want to quit the game to pursue a new one, it seems like they always come back because of the expansions released. Now to better attract gamers come back, Blizzard's another expansion Cataclysm is on its way to come, beta testing is right doing now.
Any avid Warcraft gamer will tell you the World of Warcraft has been dying. Players aren't as excited as they once were, but Cataclysm is rumored to bring back days of hardcore raiding. Blizzard reversed its goal in the last two Warcraft expansions by making it more casual friendly. Cataclysm is said to bring back raiding, which was a main attraction for many realm guilds. It's rumored that Blizzard's Cataclysm expansion pack will slightly revert back to what players loved the most about the game-raiding with dozens of other players.
The Storyline for Cataclysm
Warcraft Cataclysm wouldn't be complete without lore. The story of Cataclysm's game-play focuses on an elemental plane of Deephome. While the Horde and Alliance are battling for supremacy over Northrend, Deathwing the Destroyer has ravaged Azeroth.
Barrens land is now replaced by an erupted volcano filled with ash and debris. Orgrimmar has been destroyed, and the Night Elf city of Auberdine has been flooded out of existence, forcing elves to move north. Because of the now unrecognizable landscape destruction throughout Azeroth, two new races are forced to integrate into the Alliance and Horde factions.
New Races for the Warcraft Expansion
There are two new races for Cataclysm, Taurens will get the Paladin class. The goblins have been forced into slavery, and they have escaped to an offshore island in Azeroth as they struggle to create new alliances within the Horde faction. The Gilneas race had been secluded and protected while the Horde and Alliance battled. They mistakenly summoned Worgen, a ferocious species that was used to battle the Scourge. Unfortunately, this was a mistake, and now the Worgens find themselves befriending the Night Elves for protection and survival.
To avoid the same mistake by Blizzard for the former two expansions, Cataclysm expansion is sure to bring plenty of entertainment to players. Even with player complaints, the game continues to hold on to the award for best multiplayer game. Even if the player is hesitant, there is no better excitement than playing Warcraft expansion for the first time. The Cataclysm expansion may just be the necessary revival for Blizzard's game. Do not hesitate to play it, there is no other exciting thing than play it as soon as its release.
