Though playing World of Warcraft is very fun, if you don't use tools which may help you achieve success, you will find yourself lose some joy. For serious wow players, WoW add ons can increase your efficiency, provide you with data you wouldn't normally have, or just make the game look nicer on your computer. In this article six wow add-ons which are necessary to install in your computer are showed to you.

1. Atlas
Atlas increases the map functionality within World of Warcraft. When you installed Atlas, you will have access to maps on instances, battlegrounds, outdoor bosses, and flight locations. Additionally, Atlas can be modified to include your own map packs. I can't imagine playing WoW without Atlas installed.

2. AtlasLoot
Technically AtlasLoot is a plugin for Atlas, but it is so powerful. AtlasLoot allows you to look at the loot table for any boss mob in the game. This addon, or mod, is extremely useful when you are making instance runs especially on your first run through an instance. You can take a look at the potential boss drops and determine which bosses you want to make sure to tackle.

3. Omen's Threat Meter
This is essential if you plan to raid or group a lot in World of Warcraft. This handy little addon will show you who is generating the most threat. The only downside to the Threat Meter is that everyone in your group needs to have this running for it to work effectively. If everyone does though, the Warrior will see if someone is generating too much threat, the hunter or mage will see when they need to back off the damage, and the healer will see when they need to be ready to give one of the DPSers a quick heal or if their heals are enerating to much hate. An absolute must have for the grouping player.

4. QuestHelper
This add on takes a look at your quest log and shows you the quickest way to complete your quests right on your map. The mod will save you a lot of time as you level your character since you will always complete your quests in the most efficient manner. No more running back to an area you were already at because you forgot to finish a quest; just open your map and you will see what quest to do next.

5. Gatherer
This mod is awesome if you are a miner, herbalist, or treasure hunter. Because it allows you to see where you've found resources in the past and hence where they will appear in the future. As an herbalist, this add on has been a great help, however if you don't use professions or if you don't have a gathering profession, Gatherer isn't for you.

6. Auctioneer
This must be the most popular wow add-ons among wow players. Auctioneer gives you details about different loot that you can acquire in the game. At first, general information is gleaned including the price a vendor will pay for your loot, what a vendor will sell the loot to you for, what tradeskills can use the loot, etc. The real power of Auctioneer comes, however, when you visit the auction house and scan the auctions. After using this tool for a while, you will find that your auction house make you much profit.

There you have it, and without doubt, this six WoW add-ons will increase your enjoyment in playing World of Warcraft. No matter what you do, you will find WoW add-ons that are going to make your game experience better.
